ALAPPUZHA: The KPCC Friday warned Alappuzha DCC president A A Shukkoor for his public statement against AICC former secretary Shanimol Usman in connection with the Lok Sabha polls.
KPCC chief V M Sudheeran strictly directed not to publicise before the media the contents of the report prepared by DCCs in connection with the polls. Such acts should not happen from anybody’s side again, he said.
The report handed over to KPCC by Shukkoor alleged that Shanimol and some activists tried to rout K C Venugopal, the UDF candidate of Alappuzha, in the polls. He also mentioned that Shanimol abstained from the election campaigning of Venugopal. However, Shanimol denied the allegation.
