KOZHIKODE: The price of gold has risen by Rs 160 per sovereign and now the price is Rs 22,400. Now you will have to pay Rs 20 more for a gram, taking the price per gram to Rs 2800.
During the Vishu, the price was Rs 22, 400 for a sovereign and it slumped by Rs 160 per sovereign in the next day. Though the price remained the same Thursday morning, it climbed up by noon.
