THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A CBI court here has said that it is for the CBI to clarify whether Kaviyoor rape victim Anakha’s death was a suicide or murder. While considering the case, the court said that some external interference might have happened in her death.
“Two suicide notes were found near the body of Anakha, which gives room for many doubts. One of the letters might have been a forged one,” said the court and asked the CBI what they had to say about it.
“If Anakha had consumed poison did the CBI inquire about the kind of poison consumed? If Anakha had been raped by her father, did the CBI conduct DNA test?” the court asked the CBI and instructed the agency to give explanation on all such doubts when the case would be considered next time.
Case has been postponed for the next hearing.
