THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: District Collector Biju Prabhakar will be appointed as government representative in Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple administrative panel.
The selection was made by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Devaswom minister V S Shivakumar. Additional District judge K P Indira will be appraised of the decision. Devaswom department secretary K R Jyothilal will pass on this information to the panel chairman, Indira, who has the authority to issue a notification regarding this.
The panel will have five members including the chairman. Temple Tantri Tharanallore Satheeshan Namboothiri, Periya Nambi Maruthambadi Narayanan Padmanabhan are the two other members already appointed by the apex court and the rest will be picked up by the chairman and the amicus curiae.
