KANNUR: The police have issued a notice to CPM Payyannur MLA C Krishnan and Dharmadom MLA K K Narayanan asking to appear before them for questioning in connection with the stones pelted towards Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in Kannur.
The notice sent by DySP K Sudarshan has asked them to appear tomorrow evening at Thaliparamby station. 114 persons including the two are accused in the case. Even though hundred persons were arrested, bail was granted to them.
The chief minister was attacked in October 2013 when he came to attend a function. In the attack, he sustained minor injury and the panes of his vehicle were damaged.
