THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Hundreds of candidates, who reached here by train to write Entrance exam on Wednesday, had a harrowing time as the train they were travelling got delayed.
It was the passenger train which reached Thiruvananthapuram from Kollam that got held up on the way.
The passenger train was halted for about 30 minutes in order allow Maveli and Kochuveli trains to pass by it. The passenger train which was supposed to reach Thiruvananthapurm at 8:30 am reached there at around 9 am.
Once they reached the station, the students were in a great hurry to reach the examination hall as they had to be present there by 9:30 am. Non-availability of sufficient auto-rickshaws and taxis doubled their hassles.
