KOCHI: Kerala High Court has criticised the govt for poor facilities usually found in liquor shops. In the liquor outlets of Beverages corporation there are unending queues, bringing in lots of inconvenience to the customers. By making them stand in long queues, they are being treated as cattle class, observed the court.
The court also asked the government to appoint a commission to specify the infrastructure for the liquor shops and asked both government and Beverages corporation to give explanation in this regard."If the government intends to cut down on liquor usage, it can ban liquor," the court pointed out.
