Aadu Jeevitham for Prithvi

Kendra Sahitya Akademi award winning novel Aadu Jeevithan penned by Benyamin will be made into a film. It is top rung director Blessy who is making the film, after a gap of two years. Prithviraj is playing the hero Najeeb. The heroine and other artistes in the film are yet to be decided.

The novel portrays the life of a man who gets cheated in Saudi Arabia and ends up as a slave in a sheep farm, where he toils for years.

The film announced in 2010 had to be shelved due to several reasons. The first choice to play hero’s part was Tamil super star Vikram but later the lot fell on Prithviraj. The plan is to start the shoot next year and the official announcement will happen soon.
Blessy’s last film has been 2013 release Kalimannu starring Biju Menon and Swetha Menon.
