Nun found dead

IDUKKI: A 42-year-old nun was found dead in a well adjacent to the convent. The dead identified as Sister Liza Mariya of S H Convent at Ulupponi in Wagamon was found dead in the well Tuesday morning at 6.30 am. She was seen for dinner last night.

As she was not seen for the morning prayers, a search conducted by other inmates found the body in the well which is 20 metres away from the convent. There were six nuns in the convent. Her slippers were found near the well which is 13 feet in depth.She was a native of Upputhara. An investigation has started by a team led by Peerumedu circle inspector.
