THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of Operation Anantha to avoid waterlogging, the file in connection with the demolition of Park Rajadhani, owned by bar hotel association working president Biju Ramesh, has been handed over to the chief secretary by the revenue secretary. The Kerala Congress (M) had given a letter to the chief minister against the delay in demolishing the building.
The district administration had on August 22nd ordered to demolish the Rajadhani buildings in East Fort. It was ordered to demolish the building as it was standing over the Thekkanamkara Canal. However, Biju Ramesh moved the high court and got a stay. The chief secretary asked the ADM to submit a report ahead of the appeal. The report was handed over to the advocate general within a week itself. However, the file was sent back to the revenue department for more details. However, the revenue department has not given the details even after one and a half months.
