Keralites robbed of cash, ATM card on train

NEW DELHI: Two Keralites, who were on board the Thiruvananthapuram-bound Kerala Express train from New Delhi, were robbed of a bag containing Rs 35,000 and ATM cards. They later found that Rs 25,000 had been withdrawn three times from their accounts using the ATM cards.

The victims of the robbery were Pathanamthitta native Shaji Daniel and wife Rini Mathews. They came to know about the robbery at 6 am on Saturday. By that time, the train had reached Madhya Pradesh’ Ittachi station. They later apprised the railway police on duty at that station of the incident.
