THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Accused including Rahul Pashupalan and his wife Reshmi R Nair, arrested in online sex racket case, have been sent to seven-day police custody. They were produced in the court as their judicial custody ended today. Police informed the court that they should be questioned for more investigation in the case. The custody plea was considered after all the accused was subjected for medical examination as per court’s directive.
Meantime,when Rahul was brought to produce in the court told reporters that he was tapped in the case. We don’t have any connection in the case and was trapped by those in the government. I have full faith in the judiciary. Twelve accused including goonda leader Abdul Khadar, Rahul Pashupalan, Reshmi and Akbar are in police custody.
