THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM Politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan has said with Kerala High Court’s observation today, the fake face of the government led by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has disintegrated.
“When those against whom the allegations are made are holding power, a fair probe is not possible in cases against them. That was the reason why the Opposition had demanded that the probes be conducted under court’s supervision,” Pinarayi wrote on his Facebook page.
“What all facts the court pointed out today are the ones earlier told by the Opposition, repeatedly. The chief minister himself keeps on saying that the tainted ministers in his cabinet are innocent. The minister is going out of his way to save those ministers. The court has now exposed the government’s policy of misusing the government machinery to torpedo bribery cases,” he said
