Chandy has no right to continue as CM: Kodiyeri

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the wake of bar bribery case, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has no right to continue in office, CPM State Secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said.

“The high court had also upheld the Vigilance court order allowing further probe in the bar bribery case. Chandy’ statements favouring Mani has also been noted by the court as his interference in the case,” Kodiyeri said.

“In bar bribery case as well as solar case, the courts’ orders had endorsed the Opposition’s stand. As long as Chandy remains the chief minister, the truth will not come out in these cases. So, the need of the hour is a strong demand for Chandy’s resignation,” he said
