KOLLAM: The accused, a biker responsible for injuring a second year degree student of D B College in Sasthamcotta, has been taken into custody. The arrested identified as Hari Kumar of Shooranad was absconding soon after the incident.
Meantime, the student identified as Sayana (19), wife of Siddique, is admitted in the intensive care unit of the Ananthapuri Hospital in the capital city. The doctors attending on her said her condition is improving.
The incident happened in front of the CCTV camera at the college gate on Tuesday evening. She was injured when a biker reportedly hit her while she was leaving the college at about 4 pm. The biker was an outsider, who came to the campus in an over-speeding two-wheeler.
