Vellappally has hawala links: MLA

KOLLAM: DYFI state secretary T V Rajesh, MLA, has alleged that SNDP Yogam general secretary Vellappally Natesan is operating a hawala racket with links in several countries. “I have evidence,” Rajesh said at a press meet on Tuesday. He said there was mystery behind the frequent foreign jaunts of Natesan’s son Thushar Vellappally and that a probe should be conducted into these trips. Rajesh said that the SNDP microfinance scheme was perhaps one of the biggest financial frauds the state had seen.
