Absconding Bodo ultra nabbed in Kozhikode

KOZHIKODE: A member of a banned radical organisation in Assam namely National Democratic Front of Bodoland has been nabbed in Kozhikode.

Organising secretary of the Front and Assam native Dinta was arrested by Chevayur police. For the past one month he had been living in his hideout at Kozhikode Kakkodimukku, according to the police.

Chevayur police arrested him just two days ago. Police conducted the search on a tip off that he had been hiding in a secret place.
The ultra will be handed over to the Assam police soon.

Dinta is the 14th battalion commander of a parallel army of Bodo ultras. He is involved in a number of clashes in Assam.
