Defeated DCC secretary commits suicide
KALPETTA: A congress candidate allegedly committed suicide on Sunday after losing in the local body polls. He was found hanging in the party office.
The dead has been identified as DCC secretary P V John. He contested in the Mananthavady municipality at Wayanad.
John, who was in the four position in the polls obtained only 34 votes.
