THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chavarkode G Vimala (95), the mother of retired Medical Education director and former head of Forensic department Dr B Umadatthan died on Friday. She was also the spouse of late Prof. K Balarama Panicker from Karikkakom Uppuparambil.
The deceased belonged to a famous traditional Ayurvedic physicians’ family at Chavarkkotta.
The cremation will take place on the house premise at 4:30 in the evening on Friday. Prof. B Lalitha and B Maheswaran are his other wards. P Padmakumari, Prof G Shanthakumar and M Sreelatha are his in-laws.
