ERNAKULAM: Popular Front leader M K Nazar, main accused in chopping the hand of Prof T J Joseph of Newman College in Thodupuzha, surrendered before the NIA court in the district.
Nazar was a district office bearer of Popular Front in Ernakulam. The attack towards Prof Joseph was in the sensational case pertaining to the chopping of the hand of a professor on charges of insulting Prophet Mohammed in a question paper. The attack towards Joseph was quite sensational.
