THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The UDF was not able to accomplish the expected win in the local body polls, said KPCC chief V M Sudheeran. Talking to the media, he said the party is accepting the people’s verdict.
Sudheeran said, “The UDF attained a severe defeat in the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. The party will look into the matter in detail and try to understand the cause of defeat more deeply. A comprehensive and truthful scrutiny is needed on the defeat. Will evaluate whether there have been any lapses in campaigning and in the selection of candidates. This failure will not reflect in the assembly polls.”
