KOCHI: CPM Politburo member S Ramachandran Pillai has said that the inquiry by the CPM into TP murder case was conducted with the intention to protect the party.
The party had done it for itself and it had conducted the inquiry into all aspects of the case. When the findings were explained at the party conclaves, it was accepted by the members and aides of the party, he said.
“What the party looked at is whether anyone had acted against its policies. It is difficult to reveal who all were involved in the investigation, but it brought even the politburo under its ambit,” he said.
