CHALAKKUDY: Opposition leader V S Achuthandandan has sarcastically remarked that minister K C Joseph is the henchman of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. “That is why he said the court was crossing limits, after it severely criticised the chief minister,” he said.
Chief Whip P C George is another henchman of the chief minister. VS alleged that PC George was once “employed to hound away” the judge who was conducting the Palm oil case. Achuthanandan was speaking at the election rally of LDF Independent candidate Innocent.
He said the court verdict was a slap on Chandy’s face. “Through the verdict, the court has pulled Chandy by his dhoti using its left hand and slapped his face with its right hand,” added VS in jocular vein
