THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With Lok Sabha election round the corner, the police have seized fake notes to the tune of Rs 60 lakh.
The fake notes were found from a house in Pettah Akshara Veedhi lane, a garment shop in Chalai Aryasala and fancy shop. Five persons including a native of Tamil Nadu have been arrested in this connection. They have been handed over to Income Tax department. A marwadi who stacked the money is being questioned.
Anas, Shamsuddhin, Asainar, and Anas from Kozhikode Koduvalli and Alexander from Marthandam were arrested.
