KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy called on Advocate General K P Dandapani to discuss about the appeal to be filed to expunge the remarks made by the Kerala High Court against the former in connection with the land deal case involving his former gunman Salim Raj. The talks held at the Aluva Palace lasted 45 minutes.
The chief minister, who boarded the morning flight to Nedumbassery, went straight to the palace. The advocate general was waiting for the chief minister with the concerned files. The chief minister later left for Palakkad by car. Both were not ready to disclose the details of the talks.
Meantime, the government is likely to file an appeal today to expunge the remarks against the chief minister. The high court had harshly criticized the chief minister while ordering a CBI probe in the Kadakampally and Kalamassery land deal cases involving Salim Raj.
