WAYANAD: Forest Minister Thirvanchoor Radhakrishnan has said that a recent Forest fire incident in Wayanad was man-made. The initial report he received on fire has reference to that fact. Stern action will be taken against those who had plotted to set forest on fire after a detailed probe into the incident.
“Such fires have also been reported from the Karnataka side. A decision on joint probe by both Kerala and Karnataka, which has common borders, will be taken after consulting the chief minister,” said the minister during his visit to fire affected forest areas in Wayanad.
