Chandy crooked, says Pinarayi

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy is using his crooked mind to retain government in the state, said CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan. He will not succeed this time. The chief minister’s statement that he will take the responsibility if lost is his ploy, Pinarayi said at the commemoration programme of E M S Namboodiripad.

Pinarayi said, “The congress will reduce to a two-digit party after the polls. The Congress and the UDF will face a big defeat. All sections of the people in the state are against the congress. The present situation is that the congress will not win in any seat. The people should be more alert in the coming days. The congress will try to sabotage the poll results by throwing money.”

The BJP’s desire to gain power after defeating Congress and the UPA will not accomplish. The BJP will not be able to earn enough Lok Sabha members to assume power. A secular front led by CPI (M) will be formed alternative to congress and BJP after the polls.
