THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minster Oommen Chandy on Thursday hinted at some changes in the cabinet of ministers after the Lok Sabha election. “ But nothing can be disclosed about it now. Lot of discussions will have to happen and high command’s permission will also have to be taken,” he said at a Press Club’s election-related programme.
Refusing to talk about what transpired between him and Kerala Congress B Chairman R Balakrishna Pillai in the morning meeting between the two, Chandy said it was not the right time to discuss Ganesh Kumar’s re-entry into the Cabinet.
PT Thomas had withdrawn from the electoral battle on his own. But he was also ready to contest the election, Chandy said in reply to a question. “Thomas stepped aside just to see more representation from the Youth Congress. And, it was KPCC president V M Sudheeran who made Thomas in charge of Kasargod constituency,” he added.
