ALAPPUZHA: While asserting that he welcomed the high court order for a CBI inquiry into the land grab case involving his former gunman Salim Raj, Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said the court was not willing to hear his side before making statements against him.
“As a common citizen, I didn’t get justice,” he said. But he was quick to add that he was not complaining against the court. The chief minister also didn’t give a clear answer when asked whether he had plans for appealing against the high court verdict.
“In this case, the government has nothing to hide. In solar case also the government took the same stand. If anybody ‘tortures’ a person who has done no wrong, people will respond against that…,” he said.
