ALAPPUZHA: KPCC chief V M Sudheeran Saturday contradicted the statement of AICC spokesperson P C Chacko that the situation is not favourable for the Congress in the Lok Sabha polls at the national level. Attending a programme organized by the Alappuzha Press Club, Sudheeran said he is against the statement of Chacko and don’t know in which context he said that.
Sudheeran asked party activists not to make any derogatory statements. There are victory chances for the congress in the polls. If anybody is making any statements defaming the winning chance, action will be taken against them.
The congress had taken a fair approach towards the allied parties and a due consideration was given while allocating seats. Women were given seats. A solution will be found on the problems voiced by the Rajan Babu faction of the JSS after consulting with the UDF, he said.
