NEW DELHI: The Lok Sabha candidates list of the Congress party is almost ready and it will be out on Thursday. Youth Congress State President Dean Kuriakose will be the candidate for the controversial Idukki seat. Anto Antony will contest from the Pathanamthitta seat where a Congress dissident will also be in the fray.
An understanding has been reached on all constituencies expect Thrissur. The contestants include Shashi Tahroor (Thiruvananthapuram), K V Thomas (Ernakulam), Kodikunnil Suresh (Mavelikkara), K C Venugopal (Alappuzha), K Sudhakaran (Kannur), M K Raghavan (Kozhikode), Mullappally Ramachandran (Vadakara), M I Shanavas (Wayanad), K P Dhanapalan (Chalakkudi). All the aforesaid are sitting MPs. Bindu Krishna, K A Sheeba and T Siddique will be candidates in Attingal, Alathur and Kasargod respectively.
