KANNUR: CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan asked INL to withdraw from the move to contest alone in the Lok Sabha polls. The INL decided to contest alone in five constituencies for not accommodating them in the Left Front.
Pinarayi telephoned INL state president S A Puthiyavalappil and asked him to withdraw from the fight. Pinarayi said other things will be decided later and at present they have decided only to accommodate JSS in the LDF.
