KASARGODE: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that if Kerala’s UDF candidates bite the dust in the coming Lok Sabha election, he will take the moral responsibility for the failure.
“There is no change in the view that the poll result will also be an evaluation of State government’s performance. I’m sure that we will win the election,” said the chief minister
When asked whether he will resign if the UDF loses the election, Chandy said he was not able to answer such hypothetical questions.
He said that words used by Balram MLA to criticise Idukki bishop went against cultural values. No body should use such words. “Anybody can criticise the Congress and we’ll accept the best part of it,” he added.
