KOCHI: The Kerala High Court Friday ordered leaving the sensational Kadakampally and Kalamassery land cheating cases involving Salim Raj, former gunman of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, to the CBI.
Justice Harun Al Rasheed directed to hand over the vigilance and revenue documents in the case to the CBI and complete the probe in nine months.
Major irregularities have been detected in the land deal cases. A CBI probe is inevitable to find out the truth. It was understood that Salim Raj used severe force on the complainants. The court said the probe is handed over to the CBI to expose the actual facts.
