THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Goons damaged seven lorries at Aruvikkara after crusher unit workers refused to give them money. The incident happened at around 7 in the morning near Koyikkadavu bridge. Eight miscreants had come on four bikes, wearing helmets. The number plates of the bikes were smeared with black oil.
The lorries were loading metals and rock sand when the attack happened. The goons then hounded away the drivers and workers before smashing the lorries. The police started investigation only after the crusher unit workers lodged a complaint with police.
