KOCHI: Kerala high court has come down heavily on Chief Minster Oommen Chandy with regards to land grab case involving the chief minister’s former gunman Salim Raj.
The court held that the chief minister was also responsible for what happened in his office as Salim Raj was among his staff. Even the chief minister used Salim’s mobile phone.
“When Salim Raj is out of jail, it is difficult to ensure that justice is done. The chief minister should not keep silence over the allegations raised against his office. He has been seeing it as mere allegations,” said justice Haroon Al Rasheed, while considering the plea, seeking the transfer of the case to CBI.
