The latest buzz in tinsel town is that Amala Paul and noted director A L Vijay are set to tie the knot soon. The two were not willing to admit their relationship when there were unconfirmed reports about their connection.
Sources close to the two said a decision has been taken on their marriage and only the date and venue have to be fixed again. Vijay’s new film Saivam will most probably release on May 1. If the film releases on May 1, then the wedding will take place in June.
The two became close during the shooting of Daivathirumakal. After the shooting of the film, the two attended the promotional events of the film and continued their relation.
The two together attended the anniversary celebrations of Indian Films in Chennai. Amala had acted in Vijay’s Thalaiva. The debut film of Vijay, assistant of Priyadarshan, was Madrasappattanam. He directed the Tamil remake of Kireedom with Vijay.
The news of her marriage came when the actress is at the peak of her career. She is busy in both Tamil and Telugu films. Amala had acted in Run Baby Run with Mohanlal and Oru Indian Pranayakatha with Fahadh. The actor is presently acting in Velayilla Pattathari with Dhanush.
Her next project in Malayalam will be Joshy’s film with Mohanlal.
