THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The long-stand demand for setting up a High Court Bench in Kerala capital will be fulfilled if the BJP comes to power at the Centre, Senior BJP leader L K Advani said here Tuesday.
Addressing an election campaign for party's candidate O Rajagopal, contesting from Thiruvananthapuram seat, he alleged that both the Left and Congress failed to bring the High Court Bench to the state capital.
"I assure that if the people in Thiruvananthapuram send Rajagopal to Lok Sabha, I will personally take initiative to fulfill the long-stand demand for setting up a High Court Bench here," he added.
