Adultery is the new mantra in M’wood!

Believe it or not, many believe that ‘adultery’ is the ruling formula in Malayalam cinema of late.
Or take a look at some of the recent hits. The latest in the list is Ee Adutha Kaalathu, which is soon gaining popularity especially among the urban viewers.
According to a prominent scenarist, “of course, cinema reflects what is in the minds of the viewers and yes, adultery is a hot theme now. People may not discuss it in public but love to watch it on screen.”
From Cocktail to Beautiful, suggestive remarks on sex, double meaning dialogues, cheating partners and grey shades in general has been getting tremendous approval, especially at the urban centres.
If the filmmakers were hesitant to add such ‘explosive stuff’ in their movies earlier, nowadays the viewers welcome films with such themes in a big way.
The surprising aspect here is that even the family audiences are applauding for kinky remarks and sequences.
