One dies as elephant runs amok in Thrissur
Monday, February 20, 2012: An elephant created panic and ran amok killing a person at Maruthancode near Kunnamkulam in Thrissur district on Monday morning. The dead has been identified as Simon, a native of Kunnamkulam.
Two persons were injured. They were shifted to the nearby hospital. Efforts are on to bring the elephant under control.
