NSS president PK Narayana Panicker passes away

Kottayam, Wednesday, February 29, 2012: Nair Service Society (NSS) president P.K. Narayana Panicker, who has been keeping indifferent health for sometime, has passed away on Wednesday. He was 82.
He is the second-longest-serving general secretary of the organization(after founder Mannath Padmanabhan), who has served 28 years in the post. He is an advocate by profession, who came to the front raw of the organization in 1977 as its treasurer, became General secretary in 1983.
