LDF hartal in Kannur on Tuesday
February 20,2012: The LDF has called for a hartal in Kannur district on Tuesday between 6 am and 6 pm to protest against stoning of CPM district secretary P Jayarajan’s car.
Stones were pelted at vehicles of CPM district secretary P Jayarajan and TV Rajesh MLA near Thaliparambu earlier in the day. According to Jayarajan, Muslim League activists were behind the attack. Tense situation is prevailing in the area.
