Alappuzha: Protestors beaten up for disrupting exams

Sunday, February 26, 2012: Several SNDP Youth movement activists on Sunday morning went on a rampage in the Alappuzha TD high school during a protest, disrupting examinations and tearing the answer papers.
The agitators barged into the halls where the examinations to the Travancore Devaswom Board were being conducted and snatched the answer papers from the candidates and tore them. The agitators alleged that the examinations to the Devaswom Board were conducted without following the reservation norms.
The enraged candidates along with the locals manhandled the activists. The local police soon reached the spot and arrested the protestors.
Meanwhile, SNDP Youth Movement has called for a hartal in Alappuzha tomorrow.
