Mannuthy-Edappally NH: BJP protest turns violent Bjp Hartal Today
The protest strike staged by BJP activists against Mannuthy-Edappally NH toll collection turned violent on Friday.
A major scuffle broke out between police and activists. The scuffle broke out when BJP activists pelted stones at police. Following this, police resorted to lathicharge.
Mahila Morcha state president Shoba Surendran was injured in the clash. Tense situation is prevailing in the area.
