Wednesday, February 29, 2012: A high-level meeting chaired by State Health Minister Adoor Prakash and Labour Minister Shibu Baby John would be held in Thiruvananthapuram today to resolve the problems faced by the Kerala nurses.
The representatives of the nurses’ associations and Medical college hospital managements are expected to take part in the meeting, sources said.

Instead of building more and more hospitals and trying to make as much money as possible the effort should be to have a reasonable number of caring hospitals, provide true service and good care, and pay nurses and other employees reasonably well. Every rich man or woman and every greedy organization need not have a hospital of their own. Amrita is not as fantastic as it would want us to believe.
