Kodiyeri lashes out at Muslim League

February 21 ,2012: Deputy leader of the opposition Kodiyeri Balakrishnan Tuesday said that UDF has given control of police force in the district to Muslim League and this is the real reason for violence.
Oommen Chandy has divided the control of the police force among the UDF constituents, Kodiyeri alleged.
If peace has to return to the region, first we should know what stand the IUML will take on the situation, he said.Talking to the media on the backdrop of the ongoing violence in the district, Kodiyeri said that his party support all peace initiatives.
