Nurses’ stir at Painkulam SH hospital ends
Monday, February 20, 2012: The nurses at Painkulam Sacred Heart hospital withdrew their strike on Sunday after the hospital management agreed to their demand for a pay hike.
A rise in the minimum wage, removal of bonded labour, introduction of working in shifts and to reinstate the dismissed nurses are some of the demands raised by the striking nurses.
