Pension age: DYFI sieges Secretariat
Thiruvanathapuram February 23,2012: Thousands of DYFI activists besieged the secretariat in protest against the proposed move to hike retirement age of government employees.
Activists shouted slogans against the move to hike retirement age. CPM politburo member Kodiyeri Balakrishnan inaugurated the march. CPM district secretary Kadakampally Surendran, M Vijaya Kumar, V Sivankutty, MLA, Anavoor Nagappan, DYFI district president B Biju and secretary S P Deepak spoke at the function.
