Kollam: Ship collides with boat; 2 fishermen die
Thursday, March 1, 2012: Two fishermen died when a ship collided with a shipping boat at the high seas of the Neendakara coast which is 9 km north of Kollam city on Thursday.
Four fishermen were reportedly missing after the ship collided. There is no clarity yet in the merchant ship that collided with the boat. Navy PRO said the incident occurred 50 nautical miles away from the Kollam coast.
More details are awaited on the accident.
