Discussions heat up on RSP’s possible entry into UDF

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress offices across the State witnessed heated debates on the possible entry of RSP into the UDF. Meanwhile, certain leaders including Muraleedharan have opposed the RSP’s entry.    

KPCC president also had aired his opinion that party would discuss RSP’s entry if the latter was ready to leave the LDF. Vice-president V D Satheeshan said the decision regarding all matters would be taken after discussions. He said anybody who believes in democracy could come to the Congress.    

However, Muraleedharan has said that UDF is not a place for people ditched by the LDF. He also urged the party leadership to reconsider the decision to welcome RSP into the UDF.
